FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Do I need the app to join a trip?
No. Open the trip link, reserve your spot with your name, email and phone, and pay on the web. The app is where the trip lives afterwards — chat, itinerary, reminders — and it's where you pay later installments.
How do payment plans work?
A commitment locks your spot today. Then equal installments — weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly — until the organizer's deadline. Paying in full is always an option. You see the whole schedule before paying anything.
Will I be charged automatically?
No. You pay each installment yourself in the app when it's due. We remind you by email and push beforehand.
Can I book for other people?
Yes — up to 4 companions in one checkout. For each person choose whether you pay it all over time, pay their whole plan now, or only reserve their spot. They claim it by email; you manage everyone from My spots.
What are the fees?
Travelers pay the listed price — processing (6.25% + $0.55 per payment) is included in it. Organizers pay $29.99/month, flat, with no trip caps. Travelers never pay a subscription.
What if I need to cancel?
Every trip has a named refund policy shown before you pay. In the app, leaving a trip shows a live calculation of what comes back before you confirm. Refunds arrive within 7–10 days.
How do organizers get paid?
Automatically, on a schedule, to a connected bank account. The portal shows your payout balance and recent payouts with a per-trip breakdown.
Is checkout secure?
Yes — secure, encrypted checkout with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. Every payment keeps a consent record, and you can report a trip or user from the app.
I paid on the web. How do I sign in to the app?
After your first payment you set a password; use that email and password in the app. Same account, same trips. No app? Sign in here to see your trips and payments.
Can I make a trip private?
Yes. Public trips appear in the app's Discover marketplace; private trips are invite-link only. Organizers can also require approval to join.
